Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where young basketball enthusiasts can develop skills through rigorous training, expert facilitation, and competitive play in local tournaments and recreational leagues. About the Coach: Meet Coach Cooper
The Visionary Behind Team Coop
Coach Cooper, the founder and driving force behind Team Coop Select, brings over 30 years of basketball experience as a player and a coach. He has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to basketball, from his high school days as an All-State player to his collegiate career and professional play in Europe. Despite facing setbacks, including a career-ending accident, his passion for the game never wavered. Instead, it redirected towards coaching and mentoring young athletes, culminating in establishing Team Coop Select.
Building a Legacy
Under Coach Cooper’s leadership, Team Coop has grown from a group of middle schoolers needing direction to a renowned travel basketball team known across the U.S. His success is measured in championship wins, the lives he has touched, and the players he has guided to collegiate scholarships and beyond. Coach Cooper’s philosophy is simple: believe in every player’s potential and provide them with the tools and support to succeed.
